Assam Chief Minister Wraps Up Election Campaign Ahead of Crucial Third Phase

Guwahati, 5th May: As the Lok Sabha elections 2024 progress, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma brought the campaign trail in Assam to a close, gearing up for the pivotal third phase scheduled for May 7. Despite facing challenges such as scorching heat and relentless rains, Sarma rallied alongside party workers, traversing through the diverse constituencies of the state with fervor and optimism.

Taking to the microblogging platform X, Sarma expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the tireless efforts of each karyakarta, highlighting their unwavering commitment and dedication. He commended their resilience in the face of adversities, emphasizing their collective aspiration for the continuity of “Modi 3.0.”

The upcoming phase on May 7 will witness voters from four significant constituencies in Assam exercising their democratic right. The constituencies slated for polling include Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, and Gauhati, marking a crucial juncture in the electoral landscape of the state.
