Preparations Underway for Third Phase of Lok Sabha Elections in Assam

Guwahati, 6th May: As Assam gears up for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, preparations are in full swing with polling parties dispatched to their assigned stations in four parliamentary constituencies: Guwahati, Barpeta, Kokrajhar, and Dhubri. The dispatch, organized from the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, signifies a crucial milestone in the lead-up to the forthcoming phase of electoral proceedings.

Having already witnessed voting in 10 Lok Sabha seats during the initial two phases, attention now shifts to the remaining four constituencies. These areas hold immense significance in determining Assam’s representation at the national level, shaping the state’s political landscape.
