NTA Announces CUET-UG 2024 Exam Dates and Centers in Meghalaya

Northeast Desk, 11th May: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the dates and centers for the CUET-UG 2024 examination in Meghalaya, marking a crucial milestone for aspiring candidates across the state. Scheduled from May 15 to May 24, the exam will be conducted at three centers – Shillong, Tura, and Jowai.

Adopting a hybrid approach, the CUET-UG 2024 examination will offer both Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and traditional Pen and Paper formats to accommodate diverse preferences. Offline examinations are slated to take place from May 15 to May 18, while the CBT sessions are scheduled for May 21, 22, and 24.

Shillong emerges as the hub of examination activity, poised to host the highest number of candidates, with an impressive 8,535 students registered for CUET-UG 2024. Tura closely follows suit with 5,618 candidates, while Jowai anticipates the participation of 4,269 aspirants.

The CUET-UG 2024 examination is not just a state affair; it garners nationwide attention, attracting a staggering turnout of nearly 13.48 lakh candidates from 380 cities across India. Remarkably, the examination transcends borders, with test centers set up in 26 cities outside India, reflecting its global significance.

As candidates gear up for this high-stakes examination, anticipation mounts for the outcome, which holds the potential to shape the academic trajectories of thousands of aspirants across Meghalaya and beyond.
