Controversial Video Emerges Amid Allegations: AAP MP Swati Maliwal’s Heated Exchange at Kejriwal’s Residence

National Desk, 17th May: A video circulating online has brought further attention to the alleged assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal during a visit to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. In the footage, Maliwal is seen engaged in a heated argument with security personnel, insisting on speaking with police officers and refusing to leave the premises despite requests from the staff.

Reacting to the video on X (formerly Twitter), Maliwal dismissed it as being shared “without any context” by a “political hitman” attempting to protect himself. She claimed efforts to discredit her and expressed confidence that the truth would emerge once CCTV footage is reviewed.

The video captures Maliwal adamantly arguing with security personnel, demanding access to senior police officers. At one point, she allegedly uses a derogatory term, which appears to escalate tensions. Maliwal asserts, “No, whatever will need to happen, will happen here now. You do whatever you want to do. And I will take away your job too if you touch me.”

The FIR filed in connection with the incident unveils disturbing allegations, with Maliwal accusing Kejriwal’s aide Bibhav Kumar of physically assaulting her, including slapping her multiple times and kicking her in the stomach and pelvis. She further claimed Kumar threatened to “bury her” before security staff intervened and asked her to leave.

The emergence of the video has added fuel to the controversy surrounding Maliwal’s allegations, providing insight into the confrontation preceding the reported assault. As the investigation unfolds, Maliwal remains resolute in her stance, while the video sheds light on the tense exchange at Kejriwal’s residence.
