Meghalaya Chief Minister Advocates Data-Driven Governance at Officials’ Conference

Northeast Desk, 17th May: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma took center stage at the Deputy Commissioners’ and Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Conference in Shillong on May 17, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to data-driven governance and the effective execution of development initiatives.

Joined by Cabinet Minister Kyrmen Shylla, the conference aimed to acquaint officers with various technological interventions aimed at propelling the state’s development agenda forward.

Dr. Vijay Kumar, Commissioner and Secretary, provided insights into the CM-Connect and DC-Connect platforms, innovative initiatives leveraging technology to streamline governance processes.

In his impassioned address, Chief Minister Sangma called upon officers at all levels, from state to sub-division, to collaborate closely to ensure the smooth implementation of government schemes and programs. He underscored the paramount importance of prioritizing the welfare of the citizens in every decision, with the overarching objective of fostering robust growth and development across the state.
