Northeast Desk, 30th May: The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) has reaffirmed the resolutions put forth by the Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) during a community gathering on January 23, 2024, in Chizami. These resolutions, endorsed by the Chakhesang community, address critical issues surrounding ongoing developmental projects within the Chakhesang jurisdiction.
- Illegal Collection Prohibited: The CYF unequivocally declares that any illegal collection or demands related to the ongoing two-lane construction and other developmental activities within the Chakhesang jurisdiction will not be tolerated.
- Timely Completion and Quality Assurance: Contractors are urged to ensure the timely completion of projects and maintain high-quality standards in line with prescribed guidelines and specifications.
- Support for NCSU Demand: The CYF extends its support to the Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU), Phek District Unit, in their demand for a high-level technical team to verify the ongoing road upgradation from Chozuba town to the PWD office under the central road infrastructure fund.
- Demand for Resumption of Road Construction: There is a pressing demand for the immediate resumption of the package-2 stretch road construction from Chakhabama to RD Block to expedite vital infrastructure development.
Emphasizing the significance of these developmental endeavors for both current and future generations, the CYF appeals to all contractors and firms involved to uphold uncompromising standards of quality and ensure the timely completion of projects.
The CYF pledges full support and cooperation in combating any anti-social elements that may impede project progress. However, it warns that appropriate action will be taken if the quality of work is compromised or if projects face unjustifiable delays.
