Assam: AGP Candidate Highlights BJP Alliance’s Struggles with Minority Voter Support in Barpeta

Guwahati, 4th June: In the electoral battleground of the Barpeta Lok Sabha constituency, AGP candidate Phanibhusan Chowdhury of the BJP alliance commented on the alliance’s struggle to garner the anticipated support from minority voters. Chowdhury made these remarks upon arriving at Abhayapuri in Bongaigaon district.

During the election process, Phanibhushan Chaudhary initially trailed in every round of voting. However, he managed to secure a lead, continuing a trend from previous elections. Despite fierce competition between the NDA and INDIA factions, Choudhary remains confident in the NDA’s prospects of forming the government at the Centre.

Chowdhury’s remarks highlight the challenges faced by the BJP alliance in mobilizing minority voters, suggesting a potential setback in their electoral strategy. As the election unfolds, these observations add complexity to the political dynamics at play, influencing the narrative surrounding the outcome of the Barpeta Lok Sabha constituency and its broader implications for the formation of the national government.
