Tripura: Tipra Motha Party Demands Accountability Over TTAADC Recruitment Exam Leak
Northeast Desk, 9th June: The Tipra Motha Party, led by its former chairman Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, has taken decisive action following the leak of an answer key for a recruitment examination administered by the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC). The incident has led to the postponement of the exams, initially scheduled for Sunday, as the council vows to identify and punish those responsible.
Pradyot Debbarma, in an audio message, detailed the sequence of events and his immediate response upon learning about the leak. “I was contacted by individuals who provided evidence that the answer sheet for the exam had been leaked. I immediately notified the Chief Executive Officer of TTAADC, C.K. Jamatia, to postpone the exams and file an FIR,” he stated.
Highlighting the seriousness of the issue, Pradyot emphasized the need for thorough accountability: “If they want me in the ADC, the main culprit must be identified and named, regardless of their position or affiliation. We must put them behind bars and suspend them. Many people have worked hard and traveled from different places for the exam. I will personally ensure the responsible person is held accountable.”
He expressed concern for the future, stating, “If no action is taken, future generations will be in danger. I am asking for the arrest and suspension of all those involved in this matter.”
Following Pradyot’s directive, the TTAADC administration has committed to a rigorous investigation. CEO C.K. Jamatia confirmed the postponement of the recruitment exams, which aimed to fill 110 vacant posts of sub-zonal development officers and deputy principal officers, due to the leak on social media. He assured candidates that a new exam date would be announced within the next 10 to 15 days, urging them to keep their roll numbers and admit cards safe.
The Tipra Motha Party’s firm stance on addressing the leak underscores their commitment to maintaining the integrity of the recruitment process and ensuring justice for all candidates.
