Tripura Chief Minister Hails New Odisha CM’s Leadership During Temple Visit

Northeast Desk, 13th June: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha expressed optimism about the future of Odisha under the leadership of newly elected Chief Minister Mohan Majhi during his visit to the Jagannath Temple in Puri. Dr. Saha visited the temple following his attendance at the oath-taking ceremony held at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar earlier today.

After performing a religious ritual at the temple, Dr. Saha shared his sentiments with reporters, stating, “I believe that the new Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Majhi, will set a new direction for the state’s development. Progress in Odisha is just a matter of time. On behalf of the people of Tripura, I want to congratulate the people of Odisha.”

Highlighting the importance of peace for development, Dr. Saha emphasized, “I prayed to Lord Jagannath to keep everyone happy and peaceful because, without peace, development is not possible. The people of Odisha need development.”

The visit to the Jagannath Temple holds personal significance for Dr. Saha, marking his first visit in 22 years to perform worship at the revered site.

The oath-taking ceremony in Bhubaneswar marked the formal induction of Mohan Majhi as the Chief Minister of Odisha, setting the stage for new initiatives and leadership in the state’s governance.
