Guwahati, 1st July: Following information from confidential sources, Assam police have apprehended a suspected drug dealer identified as Imanul Hoque, residing in Mikirbheta. The arrest resulted in the seizure of suspected heroin stored in various containers.
Law enforcement officials recovered nine plastic vials containing approximately 13 grams of the substance believed to be heroin. Additionally, an additional 0.4 grams of the suspected drug were found outside of any packaging.
The arrest and subsequent seizure highlight ongoing efforts by authorities to combat drug trafficking in the region. Further investigations are underway as police work to gather more details about the case.
