Guwahati, 31st July: A Class 12 student was found dead on July 31 at the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) in the Ri-Bhoi district.
The victim, Hafizul Islam, was enrolled at Vision 50 Academy, a coaching institute situated within the USTM campus. Islam’s body was discovered hanging inside his hostel room, prompting an immediate response from campus authorities.
Preliminary information suggests that Islam may have taken his own life, but the exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
