Manipur Security Forces Seize Cache of Improvised Weapons in Extensive Statewide Operations
In a series of intensive search operations across Manipur’s hill and valley districts, security forces have made significant recoveries, including 67 improvised mortar shells, 25 fuse primers, and other related items from S. Nabil Village in Churachandpur District. The operations, aimed at enhancing security and maintaining law and order, also saw the establishment of 106 Nakas and checkpoints throughout the state.
These efforts led to the detention of 206 individuals for various violations across multiple districts. The heightened security measures also ensured the safe movement of essential goods, with 69 vehicles successfully passing through National Highway-2 (NH-2) under security convoys in sensitive areas.
These operations are part of a broader strategy to secure vulnerable regions and prevent illegal activities, further reinforcing the state’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability.
