Mirabai Chanu, who narrowly missed securing her second consecutive Olympic medal, finished in fourth place at the Paris Olympics weightlifting event with a total lift of 199 kg. The Tokyo silver medalist, just one kilogram shy of a podium finish, had battled back from a significant hip injury sustained at the Asian Games, which kept her out of competition for four months. Despite this challenge, Chanu’s dedication and resilience shone through in her Olympic performance.
