The two premier students organisation of Assam AASU-AJYCP has formed a new regional political party named ‘Assam Jatiya Parishad’ on monday. The principal tagline of the new political party is ‘ Assam first always and ever’, the first annual general meeting of ‘Assam Jatiya Parishad’ will be held in November where all the members and leaders will be present.
The first coordinator of the new political party will be Jagadish Bhuyia. Initially the grassroot level works of the political party will start in 25 districts of Assam and youths of the state will be given much importance in the party. The party have said that it will fulfill the regional aspirations of Assamese people and will work for the development of existing indigenous communities of Assam.
