Arunachal: Chief Engineer Er. Dube Dulom Receives Retirement Benefits on Last Working Day

Northeast Desk, 3rd September: In a notable event on August 30, 2024, Er. Dube Dulom, Chief Engineer of the PWD North West Zone, received his pension papers on his final working day. The documents were handed over during a farewell ceremony, following directives from Director of Audit & Pension Tarh Tabin.

Finance & Accounts Officer Tawang, Hage Tayu, presented Er. Dulom with a comprehensive set of retirement benefits documents, including:

  • Pension Payment Order
  • Retirement Gratuity Order
  • Commutation Value of Pension Order
  • Pensioner’s Identity Card
  • Accumulated Savings Sanction Order under UTGEGIS 1984

The farewell programme highlighted the Finance Department’s commitment and efficiency in processing the retirement benefits despite the delay in submission of the pension papers. The department emphasized the importance of retiring employees and heads of offices submitting complete pension documentation at least four months before retirement, as per the prescribed rules. Incomplete submissions can delay the processing of pension papers.

Er. Dube Dulom expressed gratitude to the Finance Department and the Director of Audit & Pension for their swift action in finalizing his records and ensuring a smooth transition into retirement.
