Sikkim: Citizen Action Party Honors Educators on Teacher’s Day, Emphasizes Their Vital Role in Shaping Society

Northeast Desk, 5th September: In celebration of Teacher’s Day on September 5, the Citizen Action Party (CAP) extended heartfelt wishes to educators nationwide. The day, marking the birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, serves as a tribute to teachers for their pivotal role in shaping the future of society.

Bharat Basnet, CAP President, highlighted the profound impact teachers have on guiding individuals toward enlightenment. “Teachers are the lamps of knowledge, illuminating the path for future generations,” he stated. He emphasized that while parents give life, it is teachers who nurture and guide individuals throughout their educational journey.

Basnet also called for unified efforts to empower teachers and strengthen the education sector, expressing deep gratitude for their dedication. “Let’s recognize the invaluable contributions of teachers and ensure their continued growth and influence,” he urged. The CAP stressed the importance of supporting educators as key drivers of progress in society.
