Guwahati, 11th September: In a significant crackdown on illegal immigration, authorities in Hailakandi, Assam, have arrested Md. Shyam Uddin, a Bangladeshi national who had been living illegally in India for 12 years. Uddin was apprehended on September 11 from Dhanipur village under Lala Police Station.
