Assam BJP Minister Pijush Hazarika Vows Stringent Action Against Those Harming State’s People
Guwahati, 12th September: Assam BJP Minister Pijush Hazarika has issued a stern warning, stating that anyone causing harm to the people of Assam will face severe legal consequences. His remarks come in the wake of recent incidents involving the “monsters of Dhing” and “scamsters of Instagram.”
Hazarika emphasized the state government’s commitment to upholding the law and ensuring justice, saying, “This is #NewAssam.” He also expressed skepticism over claims made by the Congress ecosystem, suggesting that perpetrators had fled to Nepal to evade investigation.
The minister questioned the motives behind these claims, implying they might be an attempt to hinder the ongoing investigation. “Why is the Congress ecosystem trying to derail the investigation by suggesting that the culprits have escaped to Nepal?” Hazarika asked, underscoring the state’s dedication to accountability and justice.
