Nagaland: DNSU Concerned Over Mid-Term Teacher Transfers, Calls for Review

Northeast Desk, 13th September: The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has raised concerns about the recent transfer of teachers during the middle of the academic session, which they say has disrupted the learning process for students.

In a press statement, DNSU highlighted that the abrupt transfers have caused distress and negatively impacted students’ academic performance. The union is urging authorities to provide a clear rationale for the decision and to consider the long-term effects on students.

DNSU has called for a review of the transfer policy to ensure that it prioritizes the educational needs and well-being of students. They propose a collaborative approach involving key stakeholders from the education sector to address the issue and find solutions that benefit the student community.

The union emphasized that a stable and supportive learning environment is crucial for student success and is seeking a prompt response and resolution from the concerned authorities, expressing their willingness to work together to resolve the matter.
