PM Modi Highlights Initiatives to Uplift Marginalized Sections, Launches PMAY-G in Jharkhand
National Desk, 15th September: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, September 15, emphasized the numerous initiatives undertaken by his government since 2014 to uplift marginalized communities, including the poor, Dalits, deprived, and tribal families. Speaking at a gathering in Jamshedpur, PM Modi specifically highlighted the implementation of the PM Janman Yojana, designed to benefit tribal communities across India.
PM Modi detailed how the PM Janman Yojana targets the most backward tribal communities, with government officials actively providing essential services such as housing, road infrastructure, electricity, water supply, and education. These efforts are part of a broader commitment to developing Jharkhand and bringing prosperity to its people.
During his address, the Prime Minister expressed optimism that these government resolutions would materialize with the support of the people. As a major step towards this vision, PM Modi announced the commencement of the first installment of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), which aims to provide permanent housing to thousands of beneficiaries in the region.
