Assam Rifles Seizes 90,000 Yaba Tablets in Tripura, One Arrested

Northeast Desk, 20th September: In a coordinated operation with the Tripura Police Department, Assam Rifles seized 90,000 Yaba tablets in the Teliamura sub-division of Khowai district on September 19. The operation also led to the arrest of one individual and the confiscation of a Tata truck used to transport the contraband.

Acting on a tip-off, Assam Rifles swiftly conducted the raid, recovering the tablets valued at approximately Rs 14.4 crore in the international market. The apprehended individual and the vehicle have been handed over to the Police Department for further investigation and legal action.
