Assam: Deba Kumar Mishra Takes Charge as District Commissioner of Kamrup

Guwahati, 21st September: Deba Kumar Mishra, an Assam Civil Service Officer, officially took charge as the District Commissioner of Kamrup District today. He succeeded Keerthi Jalli, the outgoing District Commissioner, during a handover ceremony at the Integrated District Commissioner’s Office.

Mishra, who previously served in Sonitpur district, was welcomed by fellow officers and employees, while Jalli received a heartfelt farewell acknowledging her contributions to the district.

In his inaugural address, Mishra emphasized his commitment to improving public administration, stating, “I look forward to taking public administration closer to the people with the cooperation of all the officers and employees of Kamrup district.”
