Assam Governor Visits Mahamaya Temple in Kokrajhar, Emphasizes Cultural and Spiritual Values

Guwahati, September 22: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya visited the revered Shakti Peeth Mahamaya Temple in Bogribari, Parbatjhora, Kokrajhar, on Sunday morning. During his visit, he offered prayers to Goddess Mahamaya, seeking blessings for the prosperity and well-being of the region.

Governor Acharya emphasized the significance of cultural and spiritual values in promoting harmony and development in Assam. His visit highlights the importance of preserving traditions while advancing the community’s upliftment.

Following the temple visit, the Governor will proceed to the Ramraikuti Satra in Dhubri, continuing his engagement with local traditions. He was accompanied by district officials from both Dhubri and Kokrajhar, symbolizing a cooperative approach to governance and community outreach.
