Arunachal CM and Governor Discuss Development, Emphasize Local Engagement and Sports Infrastructure
Northeast Desk, 25th September: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu met with Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan in Itanagar to review progress on various district-level initiatives. Governor Parnaik stressed the importance of automating records within district administrations to enhance efficiency. He urged district officials to engage directly with local communities by visiting project sites to ensure proper implementation of government schemes.
The Governor also highlighted his recent meeting with Union Minister Mansukh L. Mandaviya in New Delhi, who pledged financial support for sports infrastructure in Arunachal. Mandaviya also expressed his commitment to deploying sports medicine professionals and coaches to nurture young talent.
Chief Minister Khandu briefed the Governor on his recent visit to Tawang, where he inspected ongoing projects, affirming the government’s focus on developmental progress across the state.
