Guwahati, 3rd October: In a successful raid, Abhayapuri police arrested one ganja supplier from Ganeshpur, last night in Assam’s Bongaigaon district.
The accused has been identified as 35-year-old Ganesh Mondal.
Acting on a tip-off, officers intercepted Mondal on a motorcycle from Khagarpur to Abhayapuri, finding 15 kg of ganja hidden in his possession at Shingimari.
Mondal is now in custody, facing drug trafficking charges.
Authorities are investigating to locate an accomplice who evaded capture and dismantle the regional drug network.
