Indian Army Organizes Youth Empowerment Programme in Manipur to Inspire Future Leaders
Northeast Desk, 6th October: In a bid to nurture future leaders and empower the youth, the Indian Army conducted a Youth Empowerment Programme at Manipur Public School, Koirengei. The event, which drew participation from over 200 students, focused on holistic development and aimed to inspire and guide young minds towards achieving their potential.
The programme kicked off with a motivational lecture delivered by the Company Commander, emphasizing the importance of goal-setting and perseverance. The session provided invaluable insights into various career opportunities, government schemes, and scholarships that support higher education and preparation for competitive exams.
In addition to career guidance, the students participated in an interactive session that addressed essential topics such as maintaining a healthy lifestyle, financial literacy, and the importance of balancing academics with sports and extracurricular activities for overall personal growth. A special focus was placed on career paths within the Indian Armed Forces, fostering a sense of patriotism and discipline among the attendees.
Simultaneously, the programme extended to St. George School in Moreh, Tengnoupal District, where a crowd of 300 students gathered for a similar experience. The interactive sessions encouraged open dialogue, giving students a platform to express their thoughts and gain clarity about their future aspirations.
