Northeast Desk, 7th October: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu held an important meeting with a delegation from the Tawang constituency, led by HMLA Namgey Tsering, to discuss critical infrastructure projects and strategies for the overall growth of the region. The discussion focused on developmental initiatives aimed at boosting connectivity and economic progress in the constituency.
On the same day, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein concluded his district review meetings as part of the Sadasyata Abhiyan, covering Namsai, Lower Dibang Valley, and Lohit districts. The initiative, which seeks to expand digital membership and strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) grassroots outreach, culminated in a meeting at Lohit district. Mein, who is in charge of these districts, commended the efforts of party workers, particularly highlighting Tezu Mandal, which secured 11th place in the state with a 70% digital membership drive.
In a statement on his X handle, Mein congratulated Tezu Mandal karyakartas for their outstanding performance, enrolling over 1,100 new members each through referral codes. “Kudos to three mandal karyakartas from Tezu for making it into the Top 15 by enrolling 1,100+ new members each through their referral codes,” he wrote.
Mein further emphasized that the Sadasyata Abhiyan has fostered healthy competition among party workers, helping to reach out to the common public and share the BJP’s vision and developmental agenda.
Several prominent figures, including MLAs Chau Zingnu Namchoom (Namsai), Mohesh Chai (Tezu), Mutchu Mithi (Roing), Puinnyo Apum (Dambuk), BJP State General Secretary Nalong Mize, and Vice President Junty Singpho, were present during the review meetings.
The BJP continues its focus on grassroots development and strengthening party membership across Arunachal Pradesh as part of its broader mission for the state’s growth and progress.
