Tipra Motha Leader Pradyot Debbarma Provides Aid to Flood-Affected Families in Tripura

Tripura: Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, founder of the Tipra Motha party and royal scion of Tripura, visited several villages in the South District, extending financial assistance to families affected by recent landslides and floods.

During his visit to Kayaram village, Debbarma met with the wife and sister of Biramani Tripura, whose body was recovered weeks after a devastating landslide.

Offering financial aid to Biramani’s wife, he urged the local administration to build a new home for her, given her childless status.

In Jashmura, Rajnagar, the leader met with Sumati Tripura, whose husband, Gainarai Reang, died in a landslide during the August floods.

Debbarma provided Sumati with Rs 50,000 from his personal funds and assured her of future support if necessary.

This visit follows Debbarma’s October 9 announcement to tour four flood-affected villages, fulfilling his promise to deliver relief funds of Rs 50,000 to each affected family.

His efforts underscore his dedication to aiding flood victims in the region, where August floods caused significant devastation.
