Imphal: In a bid to maintain order and strengthen security, forces in Manipur have ramped up search operations and area domination across vulnerable districts, including both hill and valley regions. These actions are intended to ensure the safety of residents and prevent any escalation of tensions.
As part of these efforts, the movement of essential goods has been closely monitored. Security forces have successfully facilitated the transit of 88 vehicles carrying essential supplies along NH-37 and 354 vehicles along NH-2, ensuring a steady flow of goods to affected areas. To enhance safety, strict security protocols have been implemented at identified vulnerable locations, with security convoys provided for sensitive stretches of the highways.
These measures come amid ongoing tensions in the region, with the authorities aiming to stabilize the situation and protect the welfare of the state’s population.
