Arunachal Pradesh Athletes Win Bronze at 8th Asian Pencak Silat Championship in Uzbekistan

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh athletes Likha Aku and Damsop Tungi have made India proud by securing bronze medals at the 8th Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2024. The prestigious event, which took place in Bukhara, saw athletes from across Asia compete in the traditional Indonesian martial art of Pencak Silat.

Likha Aku and Damsop Tungi showcased remarkable skill, determination, and agility, contributing to India’s growing recognition in international martial arts. Their victories are a significant milestone for athletes from Arunachal Pradesh, inspiring others in the region to pursue excellence in sports.
