Assam: Cachar District Commissioner Mridul Yadav Pushes for Timely Implementation of PM-Kisan Scheme

Cachar– Cachar District Commissioner Mridul Yadav convened a comprehensive review meeting with the District Level Coordination Committee on October 21 to assess the progress of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme and ensure all pending tasks are completed on time.

During the meeting, DC Yadav stressed the importance of prompt action and seamless communication between the departments involved in the scheme’s implementation. He urged the agriculture and revenue departments to expedite pending verifications and application processes.

“The PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme is vital for the welfare of our farmers,” said Yadav. “We must ensure that every eligible farmer receives the benefits they deserve. Our responsibility is to verify and process each application with transparency and speed, leaving no farmer behind.”

DC Yadav directed officials to complete the verification of self-registered applicants within three days and mandated the uploading of all approved and rejected applications within the same timeframe, as per the Agricultural Production Commissioner’s instructions. This, he emphasized, would boost accountability and ensure timely distribution of scheme benefits.

He reiterated the administration’s commitment to fast-tracking the scheme’s rollout and encouraged open communication to resolve any challenges faced during implementation.

The meeting concluded with a call for improved inter-departmental coordination and timely progress reporting to ensure the scheme’s successful execution in Cachar.
