Assam: ADRE Exam Candidate Killed in Road Accident En Route to Exam Center in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: In a heartbreaking incident, Milan Gogoi, a young candidate for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE), lost his life in a road accident near Thakurbari in Assam’s Dibrugarh district on Sunday.

Gogoi, a resident of Tingkhong, was on his way to appear for the ADRE Grade IV exam when the tragic accident occurred.

According to local sources, Gogoi was immediately transported to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) for emergency treatment.

However, despite the medical team’s best efforts, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The untimely demise has sent waves of grief through Gogoi’s family and community, as he was among the many aspirants hoping to secure a government position through the ADRE exams.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, and condolences are pouring in for the bereaved family.
