Manipur: Nineteen-year-old Ningombam Jairaj has made a remarkable impact on the international modelling scene by clinching the title of “Super Model” at the prestigious Mr. Cosmopolitan 2024 pageant, recently held in Korat, Thailand. Representing India, Jairaj captivated both the audience and judges with his charm, confidence, and exceptional poise, setting a new milestone for young talent in the modelling industry.
Jairaj is the son of senior journalist Sanajaoba Ningombam and N. Petshwori, and he is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) at Dhanamanjuri University (DMU). His modelling journey began just last year, and his passion for the industry quickly became evident. In 2023, he was crowned Mr. Cosmopolitan India at an event organized by Global Model India, which propelled him into the global arena.
His recent victory in Thailand not only brings pride to India but also to his home state of Manipur. Jairaj’s achievement serves as an inspiration to aspiring models in the region, showcasing the potential for young talent from the North East to shine on an international stage.
