Nagaland Health Department Launches Common Scholarship Portal for Medical and Paramedical Students
Kohima, Nagaland: The Department of Health & Family Welfare has officially announced the launch of the Common Scholarship Portal aimed at students pursuing medical, nursing, and paramedical courses.
The portal will be open for applications from November 6 to December 6, 2024, offering a vital opportunity for eligible candidates to secure financial support for their education.
Students can access the scholarship portal at scholarship.nagaland.gov.in. It is important to emphasize that applications must be submitted online through this portal; hardcopy submissions directed to the Directorate will not be accepted. This initiative seeks to streamline the application process and ensure efficient management of applications.
Eligibility criteria are clearly outlined: only students who have been selected through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Nagaland State Entrance Examination (NSEE), or State Departmental Examinations and are currently enrolled in the specified courses may apply. Furthermore, the department has stated that students who fail to complete their curriculum within the designated time frame will not qualify for additional stipends, reinforcing the importance of academic commitment.
The portal will close for submissions on December 7, 2024, and late applications will not be considered. In light of the approaching deadline, the Department encourages all students and educational institutions to complete their applications well ahead of time to prevent any last-minute issues.
