Man Kills Wife in Assam’s Dholai Over Dispute About Gas Cylinder Purchase
Guwahati: A tragic incident unfolded in Assam’s Dholai under the Cachar district on November 9, when a man killed his wife following a heated argument over the purchase of a cooking gas cylinder.
The accused, Ismail Hussain, and his wife, both laborers at a brick kiln in Bhaga Bazar, had just received their weekly wages. The wife suggested using the money to buy a cooking gas cylinder, but Ismail refused, leading to a verbal altercation. The disagreement quickly escalated, and in a fit of rage, Ismail struck his wife with a brick mold.
Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and recovered the woman’s body. Ismail Hussain has since been arrested in connection with the murder. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the tragic incident.
