Assam: A 45-year-old welder, Amal Sonowal, from 3-mile in Tinsukia district, Assam, has been reported missing since November 6.
Sonowal had been working at a timber mill owned by Tikak Nam in 17 Mile, Jairampur, Arunachal Pradesh, for the past two years.
After receiving news of his disappearance, his family filed a report at the Jairampur Police Station. Investigations have revealed that Sonowal’s last known mobile signal was traced near the Assam-Arunachal border, close to the Khampdu bridge.
Despite a search conducted by both the mill owner and local authorities, no clues regarding Sonowal’s whereabouts have been found. Police are continuing their investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding his sudden disappearance.
