Smart Classrooms Inaugurated at Gai Village School in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar: In a significant step towards improving education infrastructure, the MLA of Sagalee town, Er. Rotu Techi, inaugurated smart classrooms and handed over renovated facilities to the Government Upper Primary School in Gai village (HUMD), Arunachal Pradesh, on Friday.

The initiative, funded by HDFC Bank and implemented by Citizens Foundation HRDP, Sagalee, is set to enhance the learning experience for students in the region. The inauguration event was attended by a host of dignitaries, including Kallol Pritam Nath, Cluster Head of Arunachal Pradesh at HDFC Bank, Shymal Herenz, Director of Rural Development at Citizens Foundation, and Tana Tagu Tara, DDSE of Papum Pare District, among others.

Er. Rotu Techi expressed his gratitude to HDFC Bank and the NGO for their commitment to upgrading the school. “This collaboration is a great honor, and we look forward to working together to further develop the education sector in our region,” he stated.

The initiative is part of HDFC Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, which aim to integrate social and environmental concerns into the bank’s business operations. It reflects the growing trend of companies contributing to the welfare of communities alongside their economic activities.
