Himanta Biswa Sarma Confident of NDA Victory in Jharkhand Elections

Assam: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who also serves as BJP’s co-in-charge for the upcoming Jharkhand elections, has voiced optimism about the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) prospects.

Speaking to the media, Sarma underscored the positive reception the alliance has received during its campaign in the state.

“Over the last four months, we have witnessed an overwhelming response from the people of Jharkhand,” Sarma stated. “There is a palpable excitement for the prospect of a double-engine government led by the NDA, which can drive significant development in the state.”

Sarma emphasized that the NDA’s campaign is centered on addressing the aspirations of key demographics, particularly youth and women. He highlighted the people’s demand for decisive governance that delivers on promises and takes firm action against issues such as infiltration.

“Our campaign has been focused and effective. The BJP, along with its allies, has operated as a cohesive team to connect with voters across the state,” Sarma said. He expressed confidence that the NDA would secure a full majority and form the government in Jharkhand, citing the alliance’s track record and the public’s growing support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

The BJP’s efforts in Jharkhand are part of a broader strategy to consolidate support in key states, with Sarma playing a crucial role in galvanizing the party’s grassroots workers and reaching out to diverse voter groups.
