Beware of Recruitment Scams: Meghalaya Police Issue Critical Warning

Shillong: Meghalaya Police have sounded an alarm over an ongoing recruitment scam targeting candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Scammers are demanding payments through UPI, Google Pay, and other modes, falsely promising to guarantee passage of the PET.

The Central Recruitment Board (CRB) urges candidates to be vigilant and reject any unauthorized payment requests. “Don’t fall prey to such scamsters,” warns Inspector General Dalton P Marak in an official release.
