Arunachal Pradesh CM envisions Namsai as a hub of education and development

Namsai: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu recently visited Namsai district, where he lauded the district’s transformation into a center of learning and excellence. The CM’s visit was marked by several significant announcements, including the establishment of a Medical College, a Nursing College, and a Fishery College.

During a meeting with local Gaon Burahs, NGOs, tribal bodies, and government officials, Khandu unveiled plans for a new convention center and a football academy. The discussions primarily centered on education and sustainable development, with the aim of creating a comprehensive roadmap for the region’s holistic progress.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, MLAs Chau Zingnu Namchoom and Puinnyo Apum, and Minister Likha Soni were also present at the meeting.

Taking to X, the CM shared, “Had a meaningful meeting with the local Gaon Burahs, NGOs, tribal bodies and government officials of Namsai district. Together, we discussed the roadmap for holistic development in the region, focusing on education and sustainable progress.”
