The campaign, a part of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme, kicked off with a pledge-taking ceremony and a rally at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Silchar.
The rally was flagged off by District Commissioner Mridul Yadav, who was joined by a host of officials, including Additional District Commissioners Dr. Dhruba Jyoti Hazarika and Kimchin Lhangum, Election Officer Masi Topno, District Social Welfare Officer Anjali Kumari, and CDPO Junali Devi.

“This campaign is not just about awareness but about driving actionable change,” said DC Yadav, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to create a safe and equitable society.
