Meghalaya and ICAR-CIFA Collaborate to Boost Freshwater Aquaculture
Shillong: The Meghalaya Directorate of Fisheries, in partnership with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (ICAR-CIFA), successfully conducted a two-day training program on advanced aquaculture techniques.
The event, held at the Meghalaya State Fisheries Research and Training Institute (MSFR & TI) in Mawpun, Ri Bhoi District, aimed to empower local fish farmers with knowledge on Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) and Biofloc Technology.
