Itanagar: The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has introduced a strategic governance initiative with the appointment of Guardian Ministers to monitor and accelerate the implementation of developmental activities across the state’s districts.
The move, formalized by the Department of Finance, Planning, and Investment, is set to bring focused attention to grassroots development.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared the announcement on social media, highlighting the initiative’s objectives. “In line with this mission, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Hon’ble Guardian Ministers to oversee the progress and implementation of developmental work across various districts. Their responsibilities will include monitoring flagship programmes as well as participating in outreach initiatives like Sewa Aapke Dwar. These efforts aim to ensure effective delivery and holistic development,” he stated.
The Guardian Ministers will play a pivotal role in monitoring the progress of flagship government schemes, ensuring their timely and effective implementation. They will also participate in outreach initiatives such as Sewa Aapke Dwar, which brings essential government services directly to citizens’ doorsteps.
This landmark decision reflects the state government’s commitment to fostering equitable growth and improving governance at the grassroots level.
