Arunachal Pradesh Inaugurates AVP Bhawan to Promote Cultural Preservation and Community Welfare
Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, alongside Social Justice, Empowerment, and Tribal Affairs (SJETA) Minister Kento Jini, inaugurated the Arunachal Vikas Parishad Bhawan (AVP Bhawan) in Itanagar. The new multipurpose facility, named Abo Tani Balwadi-cum-Multipurpose Activity Centre, marks a significant milestone in community development and cultural preservation.
The inauguration event was attended by Somayajulu, Advisor to Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram (Mumbai), and community leaders Techi Gubin and Gomar Angu. Minister Kento Jini expressed gratitude to the Akhil Bharatiya Parishad for their continuous support, while Chief Minister Khandu praised the Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP) for its role in preserving the state’s rich cultural heritage.
The AVP Bhawan, funded by SJETA, will serve as a hub for various activities aimed at promoting education, community welfare, and tradition, in line with the state’s vision for inclusive and sustainable growth.
