Imphal: Two labourers from Bihar were shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Manipur’s Keirak on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred around 5 pm when Sunalal Kumar (18) and Dasharat Kumar (17) were returning to their rented house after work along National Highway 137(A).
The deceased were engaged in construction work in the state.
Following the incident, a police team rushed the victims to a nearby hospital, but they were declared brought dead.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the killings.
Kakching police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
