Manipur: Two Men Injured in Shooting Incident in Imphal East

Imphal: Two men sustained gunshot injuries in an attack by unidentified armed miscreants in Imphal East on the evening of December 17.

The incident occurred around 7 PM, leaving the victims injured and prompting an ongoing investigation by law enforcement agencies.

The victims, identified as T. Hemanta, son of T. Nodia of Sagolband, and Y. Kesho, son of Y. Ibohal of Sekta Awang Leikai, were shot in their legs during the assault. According to reports, the assailants arrived armed, opened fire on the men, and fled the scene immediately after the attack.

Both victims were rushed to a nearby medical facility, where they are currently receiving treatment. Their condition is being closely monitored.
