Assam: Youth’s Blood-Soaked Body Found Near Targhat Bridge in Dhubri
Assam: A gruesome discovery was made this morning, December 26, near the Targhat Bridge in Gauripur, Dhubri, as a blood-soaked body of a youth was recovered, sending shockwaves through the region. The body was found along National Highway 17, within the jurisdiction of Gauripur Police Station.
The deceased has been identified as Rahul Sheikh, a 21-year-old resident of Telipara village in the Beldamara area. Authorities suspect that Sheikh was murdered, and his body was dumped at the location. A mobile phone was recovered near the body, which could potentially hold clues to the investigation.
A team from Gauripur Police arrived at the scene to recover the remains, and the body has been sent to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination. Reports indicate that the Gauripur Police have already launched an investigation into the incident, and efforts are underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding Sheikh’s death.
