Assam: An elderly shopkeeper is currently battling for her life at Assam Medical College and Hospital after being brutally attacked by masked assailants in Lahowal, Dibrugarh on Thursday evening.
The victim, identified as Keshlata Hazarika, was returning home after closing her shop when she was ambushed by the attackers.
They inflicted severe stab wounds upon her before fleeing the scene with her money bag.
