Assam: A devastating road accident occurred in the Agochia area of Boko on Saturday, December 28, claiming the life of a woman and leaving another seriously injured. The incident involved a passenger bus colliding head-on with a scooter, resulting in the instant death of Krishna Rabha.
Sunita Rabha, the second rider on the scooter, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the Boko Primary Health Center for immediate medical attention. Both the deceased and the injured are residents of Khatlapara in Boko.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the bus, bearing registration number AS18 C 9913, was driving in the wrong direction, leading to the fatal collision. The bus further crashed into an electric pole after the impact. Authorities are investigating the incident, with findings pointing to negligence on the part of the bus driver.
