Meghalaya Announces Squad for Remaining Ranji Trophy 2024-25 Matches

Shillong: The Meghalaya Cricket Association has named its squad for the final two Ranji Trophy 2024-25 matches, which will be played against Odisha and Mumbai. After a break in November for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) and Vijay Hazare Trophy, the Ranji Trophy resumes on January 23.

Meghalaya will first host Odisha in Shillong on January 23, followed by a match against Mumbai in Mumbai on January 30. For these two matches, the three guest professional players — Ajay Duhan, Sumit Kumar, and Anirudh B — have been reintroduced to the squad. Meghalaya had earlier selected only domiciled players for the SMAT and Vijay Hazare tournaments.

The squad will report to the Majestic Hotel in Shillong on January 18, with practice sessions scheduled to begin the next day at the MCA Ground in Polo.
